Sing Happy Songs

Psalm 63:7  “You have helped me, and I sing happy songs in the shadow of your wings.”

The shadow of His wings… a happy place.  We always seem to equate the shadow as a dark, gloomy, and sad place.  But the bright shadow of God is a very different place.  It is a respite from the darkness of this world.  It is a bright, warm, and safe place.  A place for renewal and hope!

Oh God, I run to you… I will take shelter in the bright shadow of Your wings.  I can feel the song rising inside of me.  I will sing happy songs in the shadow of Your wings!
